I write fiction about ordinary lives: marriages, friendships, parents and children, work, loneliness, hope, embarrassment, and the small absurdities that shape a day.
Humor is my favorite way of telling the truth. It lowers our defenses and reminds us that beneath our differences, people are often more alike than they first appear.
